Busy Summer, Busy Fall

Both bands I'm playing in these days (The Hurry Hards and The Inconsoulables) had a few gigs over the summer, and there are several more coming up. I also got a call to play a Tom Waits tribute show with a bunch of locals. Check out the Live section of this site for upcoming shows.

Aside from gigs, I went to Edmonton Folk Music Festival for the second time, in early August. What a great festival! Highlights include: seeing The Womack Sisters, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Corn Lund, Julian Taylor, Arrested Development, and so many more; and just chatting with other festival-goers. Good vibes!

New Recording Project

I've been cooking up something different over the past few weeks. I don't want to spill it yet, but I'm getting help with my grant writing skill for it. Even if I can't get this funded, I'm going to find a way to do it myself. Sorry to be vague. I'll make an announcement at some point in the future. This is going to be a big lift and include collaborators - something I do, admittedly, too infrequently.
