Going Live, Promo Stuff, Mail Stuff
Going Live
Michael's Regret was successfully released to the world, July 14. I'm so grateful to all of you for supporting this project. I haven't been doing as much promotion of this on social media as I usually do for an album release, only because I've been using less social media. I'm surprised it's getting as many listens and downloads as it has, actually. That just tells me bandcamp is good at what they're doing, even if I'm not particularly great at doing my part.
Promo Stuff
Partly to rectify my social media laziness (and also to hopefully learn about a lot of new music), I want to use my Mastodon account to basically buy 1 track from a lot of different music makers. More on that later.
Mail Stuff
I have always wanted to mail something cool to patrons. Some of my favourite creators on Patreon have mailed me neat things - from pins to a colouring book to a kitchen tea towel. I have to admit, I'm a little jealous. So I'm actively trying to find something that is cool enough you'd want to own it as part of a patron tier, but also something I can afford to order in a small batch.
Let me know if you have ideas, by the way: a pin? a mixtape? a custom music box? a handwritten letter? a photo of my dog?
That's about all that's going on at the moment.
Thanks, as always, for all your support. Even when I'm not actively releasing things, there's always something going on behind the scenes. I should get better at posting behind-the-scenes stuff again. Stay tuned.
Reach out any time,
Chris
