New Stuff For Patrons

Thanks to everyone who took a second to give some feedback in that recent survey. Lets me know where to focus my energy and I gained some insights on how to keep things fun.

The first one I want to look at is Patron Tiers. Everyone indicated that they don't know what tier they're on. Part of that might be a design element of Patreon, but I thought I could put some focus on tiers, as they do actually involve quite different stuff. I may rename them, too; move away from the bird theme. It's kind of arbitrary and doesn't really fit what I'm doing on Patreon. Not sure about this yet (any suggestions?).

There are also some new benefits sneaked into some of the tiers, especially starting at the Bowerbird level. I'm going to start having an annual collector item of some kind. I've got a few ideas I think you're really going to like!

More to come on tiers in a separate post. I don't want to outline every detail here - just let you know what's coming.

Writing

I've been noodling with ideas for part III of the Clockmaker story. The story is technically started, but I really want to stretch my imagination wings here, so I'm exploring some philosophy and even some metaphysics. I'm tetering on whether or not I want this to remain a light-hearted, Ghibliesque thing or get super dark. Maybe both?

Website

Because I've been spending more time on writing words than music, this month, the music schedule has fallen behind a bit more than I was planning, but I plan to switch that up in February. To keep myself writing (words), I've also been trying to keep up a post a week on shortsongs.ca. It's mostly ponderings and light philosophy. Really, it's more an excuse to write and work on web and database skills than anything, but it's coming along. I'm glad I'm doing it.

That's about all that's exciting in my world these days.

Thanks as always, for joining me in this creative journey. It would be a lot harder to continue without you!

Chris
