SSFPIV, Concerts, COVID

Hi all,

Hope all's well in your world.

Not a ton of stuff to report on, this month, as I've been focusing mainly on one thing:

Short Songs For Patrons IV

The core of IV is the same: I'm going to make a short theme song for every current patron (at the time to be specified later).

Where this one differs is how they tie together for an album-like thing and how patrons can participate. I don't want to spill the beans quite yet. Very soon, rest assured.

Concerts

I went to 3 concerts in one week! That was pretty rad! Been a while. Saw Kobo Town (calyspo fun jammy stuff from Toronto/Trinidad), Sunday, April 10; Royal Canoe (groovy indie electro stuff from Winnipeg), Thursday, April 14, then Comeback Kid and Cancer Bats (Canadian hardcore bands), Saturday, April 16.

COVID Break

Right after that, surprise, I had to take a bit of a break because I finally got COVID. It happened to be very mild for me. I'm lucky, but it still took me down for a week, and I was super tired for another week after that (this week). Haven't brought myself to work on much in the latter part of the month. Only now starting to spring back to normalish - still a persistent cough though. :(

I suppose that's about it. I'll be getting back into full swing this weekend. There are a couple unfinished chiptunes to send your way, yet, then that's it for all the chiptune stuff for a little while.

As always, thanks so much for being a patron! It fills my cold, dark heart with some warmth and joy to know that you're there.
