September 2020 Update
Hey everyone,
I hope you're keeping well out there. As the leaves change colour, and it gets colder, all I want to do is play outside. I might be getting too old for winter...
Here's a quick look at what I've been up to:
#Theme Songs
Kind of riding on the success of SSFPII, I've been actively seeking more opportunities with the short songs platform, starting with Regina Community Radio. I'm creating short program theme songs for whomever wants them. I've got one in the works now, and hope more folks will take advantage in the future.
On the same note, I'm going to be contacting community and college radio stations across Canada with the same thing in mind. What community radio host wouldn't want their own custom theme song?!
Naturally, as songs are complete, they'll be shared on Patreon first. Perhaps as Bowerbird+ trax. Not sure yet.
Breakout West 2020
This music conference started today, actually (online, of course), and I'm stoked! I'm signed up for sessions, booked for one-on-ones with industry pros, and striking up chats with various hotshots. I hope to have a lot more knowledge about music licensing/syncing, etc. very shortly. Time to get some music into movies/TV/commercials/whatever!
YouTube Series Update
Last month I mentioned that I'd contributed some sax stuff to a track for a popular YouTuber. Well, it's on the backburner for now. :( If it ever gets released, I'll share it. Til then, onward and upward with other stuff.
Also
While I've had a hell of a time actually completing anything this month, I've manage to start up a half dozen strong musical ideas. It's just a slow process. Good things coming though - soon, actually. End of the month is right around the corner, so it's time to wrap some things up and get them to you.
