SSFPIIICT (Short Songs For Patrons III: Chiptune) is done!
That means it's time for a big reveal...
In making this album, because of the 8-bit/chiptune sounds, of course I kept thinking about video games! That got me thinking, wouldn't it be neat if this were the soundtrack to a Zelda/Final Fintasy-esque story? So I wrote a short story, rearranged the tracks, renamed them to fit the story, and turned them into a fun quest! Therefore, I'd like to announce to you the upcoming chiptune album:
Patron Quest: The Search For The Mystic Fountain
That said, as you might have noticed, I've been playing around with some software to turn photos into 8-bit pixel art. I've also been using it to try and come up with a cover for the chiptune album. For this, I need your help.
Below are some example copies I've come up with. Some are complete as-is. Others are just concepts to work on. I'm leaning toward something with more colours, to differentiate it from the original, but I also kind of like the simplicity of some of the ones closer to original.
