Electricloud Recordings: Behind The Scenes Ep 3: Introducing GAMEGIRL_86
Far from your typical chip tune artist, Kelowna resident Holly Loon got her start performing what she referred to as "some noise I made in my bedroom out of a busted NES and a cassette recorder I bought at a garage sale," when she started playing her rather unconventional, but catchy tunes at the local coffee shop where she used to barista. What makes her different than just anyone with access to a broken Nintendo are 1: how the hell do all those sounds come from your Nintendo, and 2: her very unique singing voice. "My mom used to tell me I could speak just as well with the crows as the loons." Once you've heard her, there's no going back. You have to hear more! You have to! You HAVE to!!
