Friends,
August 2024 threw me and my family a curve ball; my mom died suddenly.
Obviously, these last few months have been extremely hard. Mom was also my first patron (because of course she was). I hadn't yet started her song in this recent run of Short Songs For Patrons and the thought of having to make a short, fun, silly song for her now seems like a nearly impossible task.
That said, I really miss making music. I've essentially stopped since the end of August.
ButĀ a new year is here and I'm going to get back at it. Not just for it's own sake, either. I think I need this creative outlet just to feel better.
Sorry for the long wait. It's time to get back to making some fun stuff for you (and for me).
