New Music! any and all misgivings
Sometime in 2003, I dubiously began producing electronic music under the relatively uncool moniker cloudy, with occasional rain. If you check the archives, I released a lot of material in a short amount of time using this alias - largely because electronic music was foreign and exciting to me, but mostly because I spent a lot of time without a job and with a lot of time on my hands.
Hardly anyone knew about this project, back in the day. I played it for friends and convinced a couple locals to spin it in their DJ sets and one coffee shop playlist. Because there were no expectations, I did exactly what I wanted, never considering another listener but myself, really - which meant a lot of the tracks are fun but lazy - lots of copy/paste. Haha!
The last official album was released in 2007, and I released a collection of unfinished work in 2014, when I discovered it on an old hard drive. Also, upon finding a random complete track on another hard drive earlier this year, I released the super fun TRAINTRAINTRAINwreck only to Brass Section and higher patrons, as I have no intention of releasing it to the public.
But now... after all these years... I present to you, dear patrons... the first brand new music from cloudy, with occasional rain since 2007! I'll release it publicly before the end of the year sometime, but, as you know, patrons always get it first.
